Tonya is a Clinical Director and co-founder of Phoenix Wellness Center. She has an undergraduate degree from Grand Canyon University and a master’s degree in counseling from Northern Arizona University. Tonya works with adults, couples, teens, and children with a variety of mental health concerns. She is a certified EMDR therapist and has

Tonya is a Clinical Director and co-founder of Phoenix Wellness Center. She has an undergraduate degree from Grand Canyon University and a master’s degree in counseling from Northern Arizona University. Tonya works with adults, couples, teens, and children with a variety of mental health concerns. She is a certified EMDR therapist and has additional training in trauma and interventions for children. Tonya recently completed training in ERP, an evidence-based treatment for OCD. Tonya also enjoys mentoring and supervising interns who are on their way to being licensed therapists. You will often see her therapy dog-in-training, Watson, with her in sessions.

Kayla is a counseling intern currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in behavioral health science. With a background in early childhood education and working with neurodivergent children and adolescents, she strives to create a safe and affirming environment for kids and teens at all developmental stages. She takes a holistic approach to therapy that utilizes principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) to address the biological, psychological, and social factors contributing to mental health. Her goal as a helping professional is to offer a space where clients can feel seen and heard and to equip clients with the tools to thrive in all circumstances. She is looking forward to working with new children and adolescent clients and is available afternoons Monday through Wednesday via in-person or telehealth appointments.

Selina's therapeutic approach is deeply client-centered and strengths-based. She believes in creating a warm, safe space where you feel heard and understood. Whether you're working through anxiety, relationship dynamics, self-esteem challenges, or other life transitions, she is here to help you explore your inner resources and develop practical strategies for growth and well-being.

Outside of her counseling work, you’ll often find Selina at concerts, discovering hidden gems while thrifting, or enjoying time with friends and family. These experiences fuel my creativity and remind me of the importance of connection and self-expression—values I bring into every counseling session.

Aspyn takes an integrative approach with a focus in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Client-Centered therapy. Her goal as a therapist is to empower clients to navigate the world, challenging situations, and mental health issues with healthy habits and a better understanding of emotional processes. Noreen is deeply committed to fostering healthy families, believing that they are the cornerstone of a healthy community, and she facilitates personal growth through her counseling practice.

     Noreen specializes in high-conflict situations, such as separation and divorce, as well as issues related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and relationships. Her extensive background has equipped her with valuable skills in conflict resolution and life transitions. She employs a strengths-based, positive psychology approach to empower clients of all ages, including children, adults, couples, and families.
