To Our Phoenix Wellness Center Clients:
We know that these are stressful times for our society and Phoenix Wellness Center is making effort to continue to provide supportive counseling services with as little disruption as possible while maintaining safety of our clients and staff. We have given our staff the option to work from home and do sessions via telehealth if they have life circumstances that make it important for them to do this. Your therapist or the front office may contact you about scheduling via telehealth for this reason.
If you are uncertain about coming in, you can also opt to participate in telehealth from home. If you are experiencing any symptoms associated with coronavirus or suspect that you may have been exposed, do not come into the office. We also ask that if you are coming in for an appointment that you arrive right at your appointment time, rather than coming in early, in order to minimize your time in the lobby.
Some insurance policies do not cover telehealth. We are doing our best to work with insurance companies to get this approved if you or your clinician need to move to telehealth appointments. We will do our best to communicate with you what your insurance covers if you do need to move to telehealth. In order to participate in telehealth, you will need to have access to a computer with a camera and microphone; you can also use a smart phone or other electronic device. We ask that you go somewhere private for your session.
